The Rise Central

The Rise Central showcases a mix of residential and commercial uses, with residential options ranging from live/work units to two-bedroom apartments to two-story townhouses. The proposed development will provide 230 housing units and four commercial/retail spaces in an area of Beaverton that is zoned and targeted for high-density, mixed-use development. The residential units will be rental units, to respond to the great need for rental housing. While rental rates are slated to be primarily market-rate, 15 units in the West Building will be units affordable for those making 80% of the region’s median family income.

Coordinating a multi-disciplinary design team, Angelo Planning Group successfully secured Design Review Three, New Conditional Use Three, Parking Determination Two (Shared Parking), and Replat Two approvals from the City of Beaverton on behalf of Rembold Properties to develop a mixed-use housing project in the Downtown Beaverton Regional Center. The 2014 Creekside District Master Plan and Implementation Strategy identified redevelopment of the Westgate site as critical for the Creekside District’s core.

Completion is scheduled for late 2018/early 2019.
